From a very grateful purchaser

I just wanted to tell you how pleased I am with my buggy. Soon after your son kindly delivered it to me at Wychwood Park I went to Spain, where on only my 2nd day, I unfortunately had an epileptic fit and ended up in hospital. Obviously I then lost my driving licence, then Covid hit us.

However I am fortunate enough to be able to drive the buggy to the golf course and am able to play 9 holes with the girls! Salvation!

Sorry it has taken me so long to thank you for getting my buggy ready for collection last month. I did complete a round of golf with it within a couple of days of taking delivery. I then put it away pending my brother getting his buggy (which finally happened last Friday). This all means that yesterday was just the second time that I had it out on the golf course. I am very happy with the buggy and look forward to many motorised rounds of golf (most probably come the spring of 2021).

Due to illness I was persuaded to buy a sit on golf buggy so I could continue playing my beloved sport.

I did a lot of research to decide which was the best buggy to suit me and the Grasshopper came out on top.

A Testimonial

After undergoing 4 operations and 2 lots of chemotherapy for bowel cancer, I thought I would never play golf again as I hadn’t got the stamina to walk the course.

I had used the buggies at the courses if available, but not everybody wants to use one and you become a little isolated from the conversations on the course. These buggies enable you to ride at the side of your playing partners and still contribute to the conversation.

After lots of looking on the internet and reading the reviews on the website I decided to visit the factory in Sutton in Ashfield. It was refreshing to see a small workshop producing high quality units and they also have a selection of second hand units available too.

Rob the owner was most welcoming and took the time to explain how they are made and a tour of the factory/ workshop. I visited the site a few times and if Rob was busy with other customers, Lisa was very informative and was my first point of call when I phoned or emailed.

I have used the buggy a few time now and I can’t recommend it enough, I have even used it to ride at the side of my wife while we visit local parks and trails and I could use it accompany her on shopping trips.

Once again thanks to all the team at Grasshopper for enabling me to play a round of golf, I only wish it could improve my golf.

I visited your factory today with my Grasshopper Junior which had developed what I thought could be a serious fault with the rear drive. Fortunately the problem was not as serious as I thought and your excellent and friendly staff attended to the problem quickly and efficiently at a very reasonable cost, also giving the buggy a check over for any other issues.

My visit to Sutton in Ashfield was a good experience and I would recommend any grasshopper owner living within an hour or so drive of the factory to take their buggy back to where it was made if they are having any problem.

I feel I must write to say how refreshing it was to deal with your receptionist and one of your technicians.
Not knowing how old my Junior is, I phoned on a Friday morning to ask if a part was available, I was passed on to the technician, and was told that it
was, available, passed back to the receptionist, all within a few minutes.
Paid for the part and received it next morning. I think anybody would have to go a long way to beat service like this.

I would like to comment on the excellent service I have received regarding the delivery of the above Buggy. I purchased one from our local dealer Meldrums unfortunately the Buggy stopped  three times even although it was fully charged.  I contacted Meldrums who stated that I would have to wait four to six weeks to receive another Buggy, I then contacted your good self and within two days I had received a Buggy right to my home address. To say the service is excellent is not praise enough, I do not know of any other Company who gives such good service and advice, FIRST CLASS ALL ROUND.

At last a company you can trust and rely on. Having brought a club car president buggy and a grasshopper junior, from the Grasshopper factory, the no nonsense sales and knowledge of the staff was a breath of fresh air, compared to the big high pressured sales and lack of care and knowledge of other companies. 
The Grasshopper junior developed a problem, phoned first thing next day. they came out same day sorted out the problem and apologized for the inconvenience.
Received a phone call next day saying that they had a problem with a batch of parts, and they would be out at our earliest convenience to put things right, another apology for the inconvenience. Each trip was an 80 mile round trip.
This I rate as some of the best after sales service I have received and as a company would recommend. Well done Grasshopper

I wish to thank you for your excellent service, sending a replacement part received within 24 hours of my phone call, fitted and tracked up with the aid of you instructions and ready for tomorrows round.
I cannot say how the part was broken, but it was going over somewhat less than even ground at the time!
Our course is undergoing transformation at the moment and the buggy paths will hopefully be more 'user friendly' in the near future.

I would like to thank you for the very generous gesture regarding my buggy.

My remarks on sending it down were not a complaint - more a humorous (?) comment to Sid. I have at all times been delighted with the buggy and with the odd contact with yourself and your staff. I think you should consider doing a Customer Contact master class for the car industry, (Mercedes in particular).
The steering column problem was not helped by my twice within the last month - waving to friends with my right hand whilst moving past them at a fair clip. They loved it, but it didn't help the existing movement on the column, which was beginning to really worry me. It looks and drives, like new now.
